Yet, for every Coppola, Welles or Bergman there is a Willis, Toland and Nykvist.<BR/><BR/>I have a great documentary on Vittorio Storraro called 'Writing with Light' where he describes his use of colour and the progression of the character as seen through a progression of colour. Granted, Storraro is much more expressionistic than most photographers, but I've always admired what he would bring to the story using light, shadow and colour.
